Initial situation
The operations departments of insurance companies are increasingly becoming the focus of strategic decisions. The industry has to balance different needs: On the one hand, it is important to ensure operational stability, but on the other, extensive changes are unavoidable. Present challenges such as technological innovation, processing backlogs and the lack of qualified employees are being tackled every day.
Against this background, insurers need to ask themselves: How can we position our operations departments in a sustainable and future-proof manner? Which trends will prevail and shape the industry in the long term?
