“We developed a sustainability strategy with a particular focus on sales for an asset finance company. As this financial services provider also finances large wind farms, for example, the company not only wanted to meet minimum regulatory requirements, but also proactively use sustainable business practices as a business opportunity. We carried out an ESG check involving all persons responsible for the matter and deliberately focusing on the customer and product aspects, too. To give one example, this has led us to develop a new cooperation model for two subsidiaries in real estate consulting and real estate financing aimed at expanding the range of ESG products.”
