Module 2: Non-financial risks
The financial crisis, low-interest phase, digitalization and political risks have shown us that it is precisely the so-called non-financial risks that are of decisive importance for the risk-bearing capacity of banks.
The focus is on strategic business-model risks, cultural risks and cyber-risk, in addition to classic operational risks. Their measurement is particularly challenging because the historical data required for the classic methods is scarcely or insufficiently available.
Participants learn about these risks and their significance on the basis of current examples, including the methods of recording and managing them, many of which are still new.
