zeb’s doctorate model helps employees unleash their full academic potential

Over the years, dozens of zeb employees have completed their doctorate within the framework of zeb’s doctorate model alongside their regular (consulting) tasks. The zeb doctorate model has become an integral part of our corporate culture. 

Promotion

The program is aimed at all permanently employed colleagues. They can apply for funding for their doctorate, provided their topic is relevant to zeb and beneficial to our consulting business. Our scholarship holders receive generous funding, which can either be credited as paid leave of absence or paid out to cover tuition fees. Various types of postgraduate study programs are eligible for funding. What’s important is that the applicants can explain their motivation as well as the benefits for zeb and submit a content plan as well as an implementation schedule. Personal initiative and good preparation are prerequisites for a successful application.

Our colleagues from zeb.business school are happy to assist all “students” as sparring partners, for example when it comes to fleshing out the research design or selecting scientific methods. On top of that, we offer a doctoral seminar, which is a great opportunity to get in touch with like-minded people. Of course, this seminar is open to non-scholarship holding zeb students, as well. Other ways in which the company supports students include flexible working time models and working time accounts, which can be used to temporarily reduce working hours or take sabbaticals.
