𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞 💳 Using a robust methodology combined with insightful projections from the European Central Bank and national banks, we have developed a forecast model to estimate the potential fee pool for various payment archetypes across European nations.  𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: The payments-related fee pool in the retail sector is set to grow at an impressive annual rate of 7% over the next few years. When considering the anticipated annual inflation rate of 2.3% and a real GDP growth of 1.2%, we find that payment fees closely mirror the trajectory of nominal GDP growth.
