Thorsten Helbig has been Managing Director at zeb and a member of the Management Team since July 2025, alongside Sven Krämer. He is a long-standing management thought leader in the banking and insurance sector.

Thorsten joined zeb in 2002 after working in the banking and insurance sectors and studying business administration. In 2016, he became a partner in the management consultancy, thanks in part to his extensive expertise in mergers and restructuring.

Thorsten has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and is considered a proven expert in the banking sector. With his clear customer focus and collegial management style, he has been a key driver of growth at zeb for many years. His forward-looking and strategic consulting approach is highly valued by both the company and its customers.

His focus is on the successful design and management of complex transformation projects – from mergers and restructuring to strategic realignment and sales performance improvement to the optimization of core banking processes.
