Julian Schmeing is a Partner at zeb and an expert in digital assets, cryptocurrencies and DLT technology.

Julian has extensive expertise in capital markets topics and is part of zeb’s Capital Markets and Securities Operations team.

He is responsible for consulting services in the areas of cryptocurrencies, digital assets, DLT, the metaverse and Web3. In this dynamic field, he advises established banks and financial institutions on the definition of strategic fields of action and the implementation of business models. Moreover, he supports fintech companies in developing their business activities.

His knowledge and experience range from business and operating model issues to support in authorization procedures and regulatory matters to the supervision of major transformation projects. He is also considered a thought leader in the field of digital assets, as he regularly publishes on the topic and actively advocates for the adoption of digital assets and DLT by industry associations.

After graduating with a Master of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Accounting and Controlling from WFI Ingolstadt School of Management, Julian joined zeb in 2016 and was promoted to Partner on January 1, 2024.
