Julian Schmeing is a Partner at zeb and an expert in digital assets, cryptocurrencies and DLT technology.

Julian has extensive expertise in capital markets topics and is part of zeb's Capital Markets and Securities Operations team. He is responsible for consulting services in the areas of cryptocurrencies, digital assets, DLT, metaverse and Web3. In this dynamic field, he advises both established banks and financial institutions on the definition of strategic fields of action and the implementation of business models as well as FinTechs on the development of business activities. 

His knowledge and experience ranges from business and operating model issues to support in authorisation procedures and regulatory matters to the supervision of major transformation projects. He is also considered a thought leader in the field of digital assets; he regularly publishes on the topic and actively promotes the adaptation of digital assets & DLT in industry associations. 

After graduating with a Master of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Accounting and Controlling from the WFI Ingolstadt School of Management, Julian joined zeb in 2016 and was promoted to Partner on 1 January 2024.
