Despite slightly improved inflation forecasts, medium- and long-term yields in both the euro area and the U.S. have slightly shifted upwards in Q2 24, with 10-year rates increasing by 26bp and 14bp, respectively. 📈 In Germany, inflation remains stubborn: Preliminary analyses by the Statistisches Bundesamt (Destatis) for July 2024 underline the continuing uncertainty in the inflation rate, which unexpectedly rose again to 2.3% compared to the previous month (+0.1%).
