Dr. Marc Buermeyer, Partner
Marc Buermeyer is a Partner at zeb and an expert on strategic transformations and responsible for the retail banking segment at zeb.
After studying Economics, primarily at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, he became an academic assistant there and a lecturer at the Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance. At the latter, he gained a doctorate in Economics (Dr. oec.) with a thesis on corporate finance.
In a global management consultancy, he advised international banks, insurance companies, asset managers and industrial enterprises for several years; at the end as a Junior Partner. Marc came to zeb in 2010.
His client work ranges from strategy development to its implementation in strategic initiative programs, M&A/post-merger management, new digital offers or sales optimization. Marc supports major international banks and banking groups as well as specialized financial institutions in their further development.
